Hugo M Scaler är en fristående uppskalare som använder världens mest avancerade digitala filter med hjälp av teknik som introducerades i CHORD BLU MKII cd-transport. Hugo M Scaler uppskalar standard 44,1 kHz digitalt ljud upp till 705,6 kHz (16x CD: s 44,1 kHz inbyggda upplösning), redo att överföras till en lämplig DAC. Hugo M Scaler utökar sin uppskalningsprestanda till 768 kHz (från 96 kHz ingångsdata) för Chords tre DAC:ar DAVE, Qutest och den nya Hugo TT 2 med två BNC ingångar.
